Life is better with a Tan

Guys ,

Summer doesn't have to be over for your tan to be non-existent we all love a good glow and I am here to share some of my faves

I just want to start with a HUGE thank you the support from the last post was over whelming  , I am so grateful .

Anyways I'm back to discuss Tan's ,so a "fake tan " is a lotion or liquid that reacts to the skin to give an artificial suntan .

I get questions about my "natural " *cough* tan all the time and the truth is it's naturally out of a bottle :) , I have tried and tested most tan's over the years but here are some of my favourites that never let you down ...I love been Mahog hahahah

I absolutely love full coverage tans , so when I say Mahog I mean it  the Tan used below is Bbold its my go to for a night out need to get it as a spray solution

First is Cocoa Brown ,

This tan never fails me and always leaves you with such a healthy glow .
I had the privilege of meeting Marissa Carter the CEO and creator of the brand , she is just as gorgeous in person as she is on snap chat . This an is a can but it comes out in mouse form , Vegetable derived DHA and no parabens which means it is kind to sensitive skin , it is kind enough to use on the face also .

This tan comes in three different types Cocoa Brown 1hour tan , day to night and the dark shade/extra dark .Having a variety means you are covered from all angles , it is available from Pennys , Tesco , Heatons and Supedrug along with many more...

I find the tan hasn't a  real strong odour an sits very well on the skin , I also use Cocoa Brown chocolate whip moisturiser to keep my tan even and my skin smooth

all over I would give this tan 5 stars its never let me down so Marissa keep them coming , it normally retails in at approx. €9.95

Bbold

This tan is what my dreams are made of , it has gotten me out of many holes I especially love this tan as when i am too lazy to do a spray tan I whack this on and it gives me the same coverage and feel as if I have had one . Plus the colour is almost instant

I use the dark one as I love the colour it leaves , it comes in lotion or a liquid form i love the liquid one as i can see it going onto my skin . Bbold uses Aloe Vera to protect the skin it too is paraben free and it dries instantly with no transfer onto clothes .

you can pick it up in Hickey' s pharmacy , Boots and any other chemist , price range is €12.95 but normally i catch it on offer at € 9.95 , it comes with a flawless leg spray in a pack and it basically smooths out any blemishes or blue veins on the legs

I would highly recommend this tan giving it 5 stars its always a winner

Then of course there is old faithful St.Moritz

This tan I use in medium as it builds up nicely when used two or three times a week , it is suitable for all skin types and is the cheapest at €5 it too is a fast drying , no streak tan so if your in a real rush this one would be right up your street .

it gives an all over even finish it is a mouse so you can see were you are applying it to the skin .I mainly purchase this from Penny's but it is available across pharmacy's all over Ireland , this tan can be a little hard to scrub of but as long as your exfoliating it should be fine .

gain I rate this tan very high and give it 4 stars and that is only because I have to build up the layers to get the colour I desire but other than that I love it .

some honourable mentions are  Tan organic, Bellimianta , Tantastic and fake bake along with many more at the moment I am DYING  to try Black magic tan so give me a shout if you have and let me know please

Tool's

To apply my tan I have moved up in the world gone are the days of tanning with a sock , don't act like you never did it LOL . Scarlet :P

I use a tanning mitt for applying to the legs , Torso and chest ,  the Velvo tan mitts are my favourite they are €3-€5

Then I use a foundation brush with tiny amounts of product mixed with moisturiser to my hands , neck and feet to ensure they look natural and blended and for when there is no one around to rope in to tan my back I use a back tanner and hope for the best .Cocoa brown tantour brushes ae great €12.95

you must exfoliate your skin and make sure every scrape of old tan is of your body because if you apply new tan on top of old tan it looks murky and no one likes that .

little tip if you have stubborn tan that won't budge then use a lemon to take it of the acid in the lemon brakes down the DHA in tan which will help you remove it
