What's in your Foundation ?

Hi guys hope everyone is having a good week so far :):) it's getting closer to the weekend (do the lyrics I'm a mother f***king star boy pop in to anyone Else's head  hahahah)

So i came across an image that got me wondering ??? so this was an oil test done on foundations ,is yours here ?

Mine is the Rimmel second in on the second row it's not the worst amount of oil in it either , but i swear by this foundation it his my holy grail I'm always getting asked what foundation i use.

Important things too look out for in a good foundation is coverage? , does is suit your skin type ?   do you want a liquid , a powder or a cream ?  . Foundations can take years to get right but once you find it its a good day .

A big factor in choosing the correct foundation is determining your skin type so there would be three different types . I'M OILY  but i have my good skin days the key is prep !!!

1.Dry skin , if you tend to have dry skin you need to look for a nice creamy , nourishing foundation with a smooth finish to help hydrate the skin . E.G La Roche - Posay Toleriane €11.95 , Rimmel match perfect (my one ) €10.95 and Mac prolong wear €33

2. Combination skin , probably the most common skin type if you have a mixture of oily  and dry areas    then you need a foundation that's going to reduce shine and balance your skin tone but not give you splotchy results. E.G Stila illuminating liquid €28 , Catrice HD €7.95 and Maybeline dream satin €10

3. Sensitive skin, unfortunately your a bit more narrowed but you just need to find the most organic foundation which has less irritants in it .  E.G Artdeco rich treatment €23 ,Vichy dermablend €15 and Clinique super balanced €29

there is the minute few who have "normal skin "  and you my friend can have the pick of the bunch when it comes to choosing a foundation so happy days .

A particular reason why i love my foundation is because it has SPF  in it and this protects our lovely faces from harmful UV rays and remember mister sun doesn't have to be shinning for there to be rays we should always protect our skin , anything with SPF 15 in it is good so the higher the better .

so when swatchng a foundation you should always do your sample on your neck because that's where you blend it too we have all seen orange neck lines sadly .

but most importantly your foundation  is there to enhance your features and make you feel good !A smooth even skin tone is so achievable with so trial and error and some good make up brushes :)
